Mission Statement
As a private/public partnership with the City of Idaho Falls, our mission is to provide crucial support to the Frontier Center For The Performing Arts, formerly known as the Civic Center, through donations from government sources, foundations, businesses and individuals.
At The Civic Center for Performing Arts Foundation a (501c3 organization), we believe in the transformative power of the arts. As a private/public partnership with the City of Idaho Falls, our mission is to provide crucial support to the Frontier Center For The Performing Arts. Through generous donations from government sources, foundations, businesses, and individuals, we are dedicated to enhancing this iconic venue and making it the destination for life-changing events.
For decades, the Frontier Center has been the heart of the eastern Idaho community, hosting a diverse array of performances and gatherings. From Broadway shows and concerts to graduations and church programs, it has served as a cultural hub. Home to the renowned Idaho Falls Symphony, it has enriched our region for over seven decades.
With the successful completion of Phase I of our renovation project and the support of donors like the late William and Shirley Maeck, we are now embarking on Phase II. This ambitious phase aims to transform the Frontier Center into a state-of-the-art facility for the 21st century. It includes creating an inviting exterior entrance, expanding the lobby to accommodate our growing community, and providing modern ADA and accessible bathroom facilities. By contributing to the Civic Center Performing Arts Foundation, you can directly contribute to the success of Phase II and help us create an inclusive space that nurtures creativity, inspiration, and unforgettable experiences. Together, let's shape the future of the Frontier Center For The Performing Arts and ensure that it continues to be a cultural gem for generations to come.
